Transformation up to v0.8.7

Transformation v0.8.9 (version notice: Currently selecting "Rare only" challenge mode on character creation will prevent you from using the transforming feature as you need to start with normal grade enemies to convert a captured monster into a transformation).

TranformationIntro

The Transformation table allows you to use Seals to transform into specific monsters and utilize their abilities.

Transformations available include almost all monsters and even some bosses. Some of them act like monsters with no control nad you can't use any class skill since your mana will always be set to 0 while transformed. To unlock a transformation, you must seal a monster. Beware, this will cause it to return to level 5 and it will no longer be summonable, but you get the soul gem back empty. To exit the transformation, right click.

Leveling up[ | ]

When either you (as a transformed monster) or your captured monster defeats an enemy, experience in the form of green orbs drops. This experience can be collected by your captured or transformed monster. When picked up by you (as a transformed monster), this experience is collected and can level up your monster, increasing their stats and at certain levels gaining or leveling up enchantments. The max level a sealed monster can achieve is 30.

*Note, your SP will drain whilst transformed and when attacking. The drain rate seems dependent on the transformation chosen.

Monster Care[ | ]

Monsters naturally regenerates when in a Seal. If KO the regen will be slower and all enemies in the screen will be deleted, dropping nothing. The Pet master (steel armor) skill "Resurrect Pets" don't work with seals and the healing skill can't be used since your mana is set to 0 when tranformed.

To transform into monsters, you need a captured monster and Transformation Seals with the level specified in Requirements.

To upgrade the monster type you need a lower monster in a different Transformation Seal specified in Requirements.

This will cost black souls. The new Transformation will always start at Level 5. Just placing a soul gem with a shiny monster in a transformation table will already show you what you need:

Monster Sacrifice[ | ]

The sacrifice of monsters allows you to free soul gems and seals, in exchange you obtain Black Souls. These are needed to seal rare monsters. The rarer a monster is, the more black souls it gives.

Sacrifice bonuses[ | ]

If two monsters are sacrificed at the same time, it will give a bonus of black souls if their type is identical. If the rarity of the two sacrified monster is the same, the bonus will be higher.
